Weather’s been dreary in San Jose for the past week: rainy and cold. Quite British.
So the CNN story on Hana, Maui certainly caught my eye.
I’ve flown a small plane to Maui from Honolulu many times. A few times I’ve travelled to Lahaina, but mostly I just land at the breathtakingly beautiful Hana airport on the North Shore. The runway is pitch black, the lush grass is emerald green, and the ocean is turquoise blue.
It makes sense that Charles Lindbergh retired here, as Hana is the most beautiful airport I’ve ever seen.
